2. Personal data we collect

2.1 Contact form

When you contact us through the contact form, we collect the data you voluntarily provide (name, email address, message). This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not used for marketing purposes.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in handling enquiries (GDPR Art. 6.1.f).

2.2 Audience measurement (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics through Site Kit by Google to measure audience and improve the user experience. Google Analytics may collect:

  • Anonymised IP address
  • Browser and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referrer URL

The data is processed by Google LLC. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

3. Cookies

Our website uses the following cookies:

  • Functional cookies: required for the operation of the site (session, preferences)
  • Google Analytics cookies: audience measurement, set only after consent
  • Security cookies: set by Wordfence to protect against attacks

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies at any time.

3.bis Why we do not display a cookie consent banner

We configure Google Analytics with IP anonymization and audience-measurement-only settings (no advertising features, no cross-site tracking, no data sale to third parties). Under current French CNIL guidelines, this restricted configuration may benefit from a reduced consent requirement. You retain full control – see section 5.bis below to opt-out at any time.

5.bis How to opt-out of analytics tracking

You may opt-out of Google Analytics at any time:

  • Enable Do Not Track (DNT) in your browser settings – we honour DNT signals
  • Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
  • Use a privacy-focused browser (Brave, Firefox with strict tracking protection)
  • Install a content blocker (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger)
  • Use a network-level blocker (Pi-hole, NextDNS, AdGuard DNS)

We do not use any advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we retain your data

Data submitted via the contact form is retained for the duration necessary to handle your enquiry, plus a maximum of 36 months in our records. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s policies (typically 14 months for event data).

5. Your rights

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

6. Hosting and security

The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). The site uses HTTPS encryption and a Web Application Firewall (Wordfence) to protect data in transit and at rest.
